Saltwater 2006/7                                                

This collection was initially stirred by the mythological Sirens of the sea and carries a strong affection for oceanic mysteries.  ‘Saltwater’ instinctively draws on forms and textures of the ocean including ancient barnacles and the luxurious salt water crocodile.

After the success of ‘Unleash the Spirits’ crocodile jewellery, Charmaine has expanded on her signature style of emulating the texture of crocodile skin in precious metals.

This unisex collection reveals exotic Northern Australian farmed Saltwater crocodile leather set in precious metals, South Sea Pearls buried in ancient ocean barnacles and long sea serpent earrings hand carved from buffalo horn, alongside other rich forms & textures of ‘Saltwater’.
